Individual play

Use your own event account and work independently. Keep flags, investigation answers and solutions to yourself while the competition is running.

Challenge availability

Explore the challenges available on the Challenges page. Availability may change during the competition; follow any release updates from the organisers.

Submitting solutions

Follow each challenge briefing. Submit flags or investigation answers through the challenge interface as directed.

Points and standings

Accepted solutions contribute to your event score. Each challenge can score once. Check the challenge page for its point value. Standings are ordered by score, then by lowest cumulative solve time.

Hints and tools

Check each challenge for available hints and any conditions of use.

Challenge scope

Keep your testing within the environments and resources provided for each challenge. The event platform, authentication services, scoreboard, other participants and unrelated systems are outside the challenge scope.

Help and unexpected issues

If a challenge is not working as expected, contact event staff with the challenge name and a brief description. If you discover an unexpected platform vulnerability, stop testing that issue and report it privately to event staff.

Sharing your work

Keep solutions and writeups private during the competition. After it closes, check the organisers’ publication guidance before sharing them.

Fair participation

Organisers may review activity and adjust scores or access where these rules are breached.
